Master Gardener Volunteer Donna DeSousa will be discussing the importance of native plants for the garden. An active and enthusiastic Master Gardener Volunteer since 2005 and retired scientist, Ms. DeSousa presents on a wide variety of gardening and horticultural topics. These include edible landscaping, flowering bulbs and soils.

Gather at 7:00 PM at the Congers Lake Memorial Park Community Center for refreshments and conversation with fellow birders and nature enthusiasts. Program starts at 7:30 PM.
